Virtual gatherings are already a standard practice in Pathwa圜onnect for nearly one-third of our students throughout the world, and students who gather virtually experience similar positive outcomes as those who gather in person. The good news is that BYU-Pathway has considerable experience operating virtual gatherings. Additionally, online courses will continue uninterrupted for all students. Students will be notified by their missionaries with a link to their Zoom gathering. Students who already gather virtually will experience no change. This means that students who meet locally at a Church meetinghouse or institute for their weekly Pathwa圜onnect gatherings will now gather online via Zoom videoconferencing software. This change follows direction from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to temporarily suspend all public gatherings of Church members.
